Amplify ELA: M.C. Higgins
Amplify ELA creates interactive core curriculum that inspires students to read more deeply, write more vividly, and think more critically. This unit was built around M.C. Higgins, the Great by Virginia Hamilton. I collaborated with curriculum creators and editors, in creating the illustrations for this unit to make reading and writing more fun.

Drawing inspiration from the Appalachian Mountains, the main setting of the story, we wanted the illustrations to create a world within the interactive screen, where M.C. Higgins could exists.
