Born in Indonesia, I moved to Los Angeles to live on my own when I was 12.
After art school, I co-founded a design collaborative and The League of Moveable Type, an open-source type foundry, before moving to New York City to pursue design and illustration.
In 2018 I came to Maine to study audio documentary and never left.
My work moves between design, illustration, and audio, but storytelling is at the center of all of it. I work on everything from children's books and murals to educational science apps and audio documentaries.
I’ve produced the award-winning PBS Nature podcast Going Wild and continue to create illustrated stories, including a children’s book about love and a story about the privatization of the coastline here in Vacationland.

Most collaborations start with a conversation. I love figuring out what form a story or idea wants to take—whether that means design, illustration, audio, or some combination of the three.
