The Last Woman on Earth
“This moving graphic narrative is, ostensibly, a tale of dystopian survival. But in her rich images and simple, lyric statements, Caroline Hadilaksono creates an exquisite ode to love, the thing which truly allows us to survive and to bloom where we are planted.”

Love & Rage Series
with Lama Rod Owens
This Love and Rage series could be useful for a lot of people during this time of uncertainty and unrest, but particularly to people in the BIPOC community, especially those who work in activism and organizing.
Lama Rod Owens is considered as one of the leaders in the next generation of Dharma teachers. He’s best known for his book Love and Rage: The Path of Liberation Through Anger, that’s informed by his formal Buddhist traning and his life experience as a Black, queer male, born and raised in the South.
In this series we will explore Lama Rod Owens’ teachings around the things that affect all of us, but is so difficult to talk about — race, identity, gender, class, power. We’ll practice how to meet and process our difficult emotions such as anger, sadness, and despair and transform them through a series of mindfulness practices developed by Lama Rod.
Here’s an audio sample of the first session: Meeting Our Anger. This first session is an introduction to the concept of Love and Rage — understanding the importance of meeting and processing our anger without reacting to it.
