Centric Styleguide
Centric is a 24-hour music and entertainment channel that reflected the lifestyle and sophistication of a multicultural viewer. While music will continue to be part of the Centric network, the evolution has led them to become “The First Network Designed for Black Women” – a modern lifestyle brand celebrating the multi-dimensional world of Black women. The goal was to create a brand with modernity, style and attitude.

The First Network Designed for Black Women
The new branding reflects the modern black woman — complex, layered, and nuanced, The new visual style is a densely layered brand. One that felt expressive, but thoroughly modern.
The goal was to create a styleguide for the client’s in-house design team that is both comprehensive and easy to navigate, so they can implement the new brand identity precisely and consistently across various formats and platforms. The styleguide includes logo lockups, color palette and detailed guidelines on each of the different Color Packages, formula for combining the 5 different brand layers, library of all the patterns and textures and how to apply them.
